Cross Country Practice

Practice begins Monday, 9/8/08, at 3:15 pm on the Athletic Field.
Students that signed up or are interested in running for our Team please plan to attend.
Coach Aimee Walker will be coaching our Team this year.

Here are the directions for Thursday CC Meet                                          
TO  Epiphany Cathedral School 

From I-75 (North or South) take Exit 193 / Jacaranda  If coming from Sarasota/Bradenton area,
take a right onto Jacaranda Blvd. from the offramp. 

If coming from North Port / Port Charlotte area, take a left onto Jacaranda Rd. from the offramp. 
Continue on Jacaranda Blvd. for .9 mi. to Venice Blvd. 

Turn right onto Venice Blvd.  Follow Venice Blvd. for approximately 4 miles to Harbor Blvd. 
(You will now be on the island of Venice.) 

Turn left onto Harbor Blvd. and continue for about 1.8 miles. 

You will come upon a Coast Guard Facility on the right just before  Sharkey's restaurant. 
Sharkey's is located also on the right directly a cross from the Venice Municiple Airport. 

Take the first parking lot entrance on the right. 

If possible please try to park on the right hand side of the lot which will be closest to the restroom facilities, start/finish line, and away from the restaurant patrons. 

Once you arrive, everyone should gather down on the beach directly in front of the building. 

Since the weather has taken a chillier turn, please advise your athletes that they may want to bring sweatshirts and pants to wear before and/or after their race.

Cross Country season starts in October and goes through the middle of December.
